Thanks to all the families around Carrboro and Chapel Hill who joined us to celebrate the benefits of walking and biking!

Mayor Barbara Foushee led a walk to school from Wilson Park to Carrboro Elementary, and proclaimed the day as Walk to School Day. Staff and volunteers counted 251 walkers and 176 cyclists this October! Counts be school are shown below.

The numbers have been checked and small adjustments have been made to account for double counting.
